How do I become a Member?
 

You can become a Dorothy member at any time by signing up online or joining at  our annual Fashion Show or Haunted Halloween events.  Membership must be renewed annually to be cumulative. That is to say if a member starts at the Munchkin level of $100.00 and increases the donation each year, the membership level increases as well.  Our purpose with consistent cumulative membership is so everyone can reach a Shoe Award level. 

 
What are the benefits of Membership?
 
Members of the guild are automatically added to our Dorothy Email Blast list, keeping them up to date on Dorothy happenings. It also gives them first opportunity to buy tickets to events at the discounted membership price.  Members can buy up to six tickets per event at their discounted rate. 

Members donating $1000.00 or more annually also qualify for our Shoe Award  Program. 

All members receive ASF's publication the Voice and invitation to all ASF sponsored events. 
 
What are the Membership Levels?
 

$100 - Munchkin Member

$250 - Toto Member
 $500 - Yellow Brick Road Member
 $1,000 - Ruby Slipper Member
 $2,500 - Emerald City Member
$10,000+ Glinda Good Witch Member

 

Where does the money go? 

We are proud to be an all Volunteer Organization.  Our success has been possible through the efforts of our  Steering Committee  and the members of the Community that donate their time and resources.  This has enabled us to keep expenses very low while creating our fantastic events.  

Over 90% of all monies collected from our events go directly to ASF!

ASF provides the following services to the HIV/AIDS Community
  - Access to basic needs for families
  - Help children deal with HIV in the family
  - Transport to and from medical appointments
  - Help provide housing
  - Food Bank services
  - Mental health counseling
  - Help families stay together ,fed, clothed and housed

 
How many events do the Dorothy's do annually?
 

The Guild hosts two major events each year

* The Annual Fashion Show Rave -  on May 23, 2012

* Haunted Halloween at The Center Club -  on October 20, 2012


How do I join the Dorothy Steering Committee?
 
The steering committee is responsible for all aspects of Dorothy events and makes them a success year after year. If you feel you have what it takes to join the team, email James Rust VP for an application.
